Performance of new music by living composers thrives and flourishes throughout greater Boston and the New England region. On a rotating basis we will feature organizations that present new music, from concerts including repertoire by internationally renown composers to exciting premieres from emerging composers.

Featured Performing Group - New Gallery Concert Series

Experience the direct collaboration of musicians and visual artists at the
New Gallery Concert Series!
New Gallery Concert Series presents new pieces along with their composers, new visual works along with their artists and devoted performers who are excited to show a side of music left too often to the
unknown.

Founded by pianist Sarah Bob in the fall of 2000, the New Gallery Concert Series
is already a major part of the Boston new music community.  It has hosted 13 concerts with over 52 musical compositions, 14 world premieres and hundreds of works by over two dozen visual artists from around the world. From classical contemporary, improvisation and jazz to sculpture, painting, photography and film, programs are cohesive, diverse, exciting and intimate.

Be a part of the promotion of 21st century expression and
come celebrate the now!
